A nanny can be anyone from a college student looking for part-time work to a career nanny seeking full-time employment. We encourage you to contact us if you think this might be a position for you. Each applicant must have a high school diploma, three verifiable childcare references and above all must love working with children. You must also be willing to obtain certification in CPR and First Aid. If you posses these things, we would be happy to work with you to find a position that is right for you.

The Washburn Agency is a referral agency which has an array of opportunities that include; live-in, live-out, full-time and part-time nanny positions. Many nanny positions, depending on the employer, also include health benefits, paid sick, holiday and/or vacation time. It is our goal to make sure that you, as a nanny, are treated fairly and compensated according to the work agreement, you will construct with your employer. A criminal background, driving history and reference check will be completed on each applicant before their portfolio can be sent to prospective families. We will contact you with each potential position, before an interview is scheduled, to insure it is a position you are interested in.
